President: Janet Mitchell
I started going to classes in 2008, and they still continue today. I became a member in 2010. This Church and it's wonderful leadership has helped me through some difficult times. I am so happy to have found my spiritual home here. I am an MPI student, working for my credentials. I have recently received my Certification for Mediumship. I am originally from Michigan, my husband and I retired and moved here permanently in 2005.
Vice President: Kim Wagner
Kim Wagner Lane is a new Trustee on the CLS Board of Directors, currently serving a one year term.
Kim has been in Spiritualism since 2006. While living in Northern California she was a member of the Central Spiritualist Church in Sacramento. Kim and her family moved to Arizona in 2013 and has been an active member of the Church of the Living Spirit since that time.
Kim is a domestic engineer who lives in Surprise with husband, Randy and her two youngest daughters, Rosie and Katelynn.
Being a trustee fulfills her wish to give back to a church which means so much to her and her family.
Secretary: Deborah Freeman
DeeDee Freeman is an ordained Spiritualist minister and teacher, and in 2019 moved to Prescott from San Francisco, where she served for 5 years as lay pastor, board vice president and secretary at Celebrate Life Spiritualist Community. She had heard many wonderful things about Rev. Havivah Richards from Havi's father, Paul Cook, who mentored DeeDee in Spiritualism and how to run a Spiritualist church. When she found no NSAC Spiritualist churches in Prescott, DeeDee chose Church of the Living Spirit as her new spiritual home, and surprise! Havi was the pastor. While DeeDee isn't able to serve here as much as she would like, she is committed to doing her very best to serve the church whether on the board or on the platform. DeeDee loves introducing people to all aspects of Spiritualism, and teaches Spiritualist related topics at Prescott's Yavapai College.
